Cairns and Northern Beaches

Cairns is furthest north on the east coast of the tropical part of the Australian continent. The climate is pleasant all year round, even in winter you can expect temperatures around 30 degrees in this area.

There are only a few areas remaining rainforest in Australia and North Queensland is the dense along the coast. Here you will find crystal clear waters, palm trees, orchids, butterflies in many different colors and several unique species.

Cairns is the perfect starting point for tours to the famous Barrier Reef, Great Barrier Reef, and the beautiful national parks such as the Daintree. Activity range is vast and varied and we recommend a few days at the hotel in the city. Cairns also has an international airport which makes it easy to get there.

The stretch north of Cairns dominated by long white sandy beaches surrounded by green rainforest. Many people choose to stay in Cairns but we recommend that you also go to one of the small villages north of Cairns Palm Cove and Port Douglas.

The smaller resorts of Palm Cove and Trinity Beach is located about 20 minutes north of Cairns, and has perhaps the finest beaches in the whole of northern Queensland. This is where many to enjoy the surroundings, get married and to be pampered at one of the many spa centers available here. Palm Cove has many fine restaurants and shops and is known for its pleasant climate year round. Trinity Beach is Cairns’s most popular beach and has been so for many years.
